Charles Sharp, MD

Dr Sharp is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in Economics. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed a residency at University Hospital in Birmingham in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He began an active medical career and founded Sharp and Stone OB/GYN in 1999. In 2007, he was one of the founders of Red Clay Risk Retention Group domiciled in the State of South Carolina and became its president. He serves on the Board of Directors, The Finance Committee, the Claims Committee, and oversees the recruiting for the company. He holds an insurance license in the state of Alabama.
