William Golden, MD

Dr. Golden has been practicing OB/Gyn in Opelika, AL since 1987. He has participated in Red Clay since 2008, serving as vice president since the company's inception.

Dr. Golden is a graduate of Auburn University and then The University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition to his role at Red Clay, Dr. Golden served as Chief Medical Officer at East Alabama Medical Center from 2017-2022. He recently retired from that role but still practices Gynecology part-time. He also serves as the Medical Director at Women’s Hope Medical Clinic. He has served in the past as the Chairman of the Alabama section, ACOG, Chief of Staff at EAMC and as the Director of the Robotics program at EAMC from 2010-2022.
